about us.
Well, it’s not really ‘us’, unless you count the tireless support efforts of my small team of cats.
My name is Imogen, and I’m a web designer and trainee counsellor living in east London. When I’m not pixel-pushing or studying, I can usually be found in the woods, a swimming pool, or if I’m lucky, by the sea.
I learned to build websites after feeling disappointed with the experience of having others build them for me. I was tired of being talked down to by tech bros, and feeling like I had no ownership or control over something that was mine.
Thus, Glitchcraft was born. I wanted to operate a different kind of business model; one that allows me to build affordable, beautiful, functional, responsive and unique sites, keeping the process transparent, simple and fair. No upselling, no ‘locking in’, just gorgeous web design by and for good folks.
how it works.
It’s pretty simple and straightforward. Just how we like it.
We work collaboratively and transparently, putting heart and soul into every project that comes our way. The process naturally varies depending on the scope of the project, but it will generally look a little something like this:
- You'll contact us with your ideas, and we'll set about discussing them and coming up with a plan.
- We'll create style guides and mockups to solidify the direction of the project
- We'll build out your site, and tweak everything until you're thrilled with it
- You can choose to enjou a bespoke aftercare package, from hands off to full webmastery at a fair and reasonable cost
Every package offered is tailored to you, and we can work together to come up with something that fits your needs.
